Major Feat






My host mom left me with a package of sole wrapped in paper to cook for dinner Wednesday night. Little did I know, the fish still had HEADS!!! And skin and tails too! And bones inside! Blegh! I had to cover three slimy and slightly bloody fishies in flour and fry them. I was proud of myself in the end!

I've noticed that French meat, fish, and poultry often come in a form that more closely resembles the animal as it was alive.
